Dustin Spagnola New Work At Harvest Records
Harvest Records hosted a show of new works by West Asheville artist Dustin Spagnola. For this show, Spagnola, a mixed-media artist, draws heavily from musical influences in his life here in Asheville.
Mixed with images of local artists like Pierce Edens and Jaye Bartell are those of his travelling musical heroes such as Ian Mackaye (minor threat, fugazi) and Greg Ginn (black flag).
Providing appropriate music for the event was Just Die. Just Die is a local hardcore/punk band consisting of Vocals: Steve Shell, Drums: Dave Reinhardt, Bass: Jay McBones, and Guitar: Matt Evans. They made the joint jump.
The show will be up at Harvest Records, 415 Haywood Road, West Asheville until August 1st.
